All Change for Christmas!

Well as some of you know I am moving house - yes just in time for Christmas!

We have found a lovely little cottage in Ilfracombe. There is good news and there is bad news!

Good news: the house has been decorated and is ready to move in.
Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.

Good news : We have space for a studio.
Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.

Good news: The main bathroom is downstairs but the bedroom is en-suite. Don't have to struggle with stairs every few hours.
Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.

Good news: The house is slightly set back from the others so we don't have to socialise with the neighbors if we don't want to. LOL
Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.

Good news: We have a lovely little courtyard garden. Just big enough for me to handle and big enough to sit in comfortably.
Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.

Good news: We have lovely views over the Ilfracombe roof tops to the Tors and hills.
Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.

Bad news: There isn't any parking in front of the house.
Good news: Parking is only about 2 minutes walk away(my speed) and that is on the flat. Yey! Even bad news can be good.

So I will be busy for the next little while and my phone and Internet connection will be held up due to Christmas but I will see you soon and with pics of the new abode.

Please have the most Wonderful Christmas and the happiest of starts to the New Year.
Lots of love and hugs, Alis

Take care - I know it's a big job moving in and getting settled! Hey, tell me . . . do you have any place for parking in front of the house? :)

I don't think any house is ever PERFECT. But, if this has space for a studio it comes close!! Hope your move goes smoothly :)

Sounds like a great house - have you checked if it has parking though?

Good luck with the move and have a lovely Christmas in your new home.

Alis, hope you're beginning to settle in and sorted out that parking space - 2 minutes walk away here would definitely mean a hill so it could be worse, lol :>
Sounds great, with the views AND a studio!!! Enjoy, and hope you had a great xmas.
hugs, Linda.

Loved this post Alis. I'm sure you will be very happy in your new house and just think how good for the figure that 2 minute walk will be.
