Floral Arch
This is my arch for Cathy on Textile Challenges.
I'm running late again which gives me the opportunity (at least in my own mind) to stay in my comfort zone and play with one of my favouite techniques.
So here we have layers of painted nappy liners and organzas zapped with a heat gun and lots of machine embroidery. I love the depth and texture this technique creates.
The arch is now on the way to Cathy, so I hope she likes this technique too.

Hi, The arch is gorgeous. Love the colors and the texture. Could you tell me where to find instructions for working with nappy liners. I have some, but have clue what to do first.
Love the textures and colours Alis, well done
Hi Alis. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I have been following your arches too. This one is a lovely colour. I had no idea so many people were behind with their arches until the amnesty. It did the trick tho didn't it.
