Pollyanna!

I am in an altered book round robin on ANUK
It's theme is Children's Literature.

Kari's book is Pollyanna.
Pollyanna always tries to find the good in every thing and tries to find something to be glad about in every situation.
Kari asks the question "what makes you glad in bad times?"

Well for me it just has to be the beach and especially the sea. The sights, sounds and smells sooth me every time and lift my spirits. I'm so glad I live near the beach.

In Winter 2006 Quilting Arts, Linda S Schmidt creates a beach using puff paint. Well I just had to have a go at creating a beach of my own. This is the result.
I hope Kari likes it.

Alis this is wonderful. It just begs to be touched. The colors are perfect and honestly if I didn't know better I would think I was looking at a photograph of the sand. Gorgeous.

You have done a fantastic job. Makes you want to take a stroll and gather shells.
