Well I have no idea where the first half of October has gone and what do I have to show for it?
Well not a lot and I don't know why.
I don't seem to have been sitting around doing nothing. Maybe I have just started a lot of things and not yet finished.
YES, that will be my excuse.
Even this piece isn't really finished.
I have posted this as part of the Textile Tuesday challenge - Black.
It is part of my patchwork project. I am making an 8 point star table centrepiece and table mats.
They are part of a Christmas themed class I am taking at Lower Campscott Farm
The course is run by Margaret Hill. Margaret Cowell, who owns the farm, has provided a most beautiful work room for us to use.
What more could you want? A fun course, great company and wonderful surroundings.
Next month I will - hopefully- be finishing the star and mats so I will let you see the finished results then.

Ooooh, and this from you, such a colourful artist, but isn't it sophisticated?? Look forward to seeing the end result.
Do you work like I do, lots of projects started and ongoing that all finish at the same time? That is why sometimes I don;t have much to show and at others I have lots.
Funny - must be the creative in us.

This is gorgeous, really rich!
Don't be so hard on yourself... we all do lots of different things. BTW I got stalled on my one a day thing, and it's taken nearly 2 weeks to pick that up. It doesn't mean I've not been doing things... I'm like Kari I have lots of things I'm doing on the go at any one time.

Just fabulous - gorgeous combination of fabrics used - very very lovely :)
Thank you all for your comments. I've really enjoyed working with these fabrics, so unlike the things I normally do.
Sophisicated! Hmm, well the pieces do look it but me?! Nah!
Yes Kari and Claire, I have loads of things on the go at once - butterfly brain and like you Claire I can get sidetracked and forget what I was working on.
Are you all coming to Christmas dinner to see my table then? ;0)
Hugs, Alis.
Gorgeous piece of work. I love patchwork, and the colours of this are sumptuous.
Oh and you're not alone - I have so many things started but not finished I don't know what to do next (and there's the xmas cards etc to start... the next AB, the journals... lol! *sighs*).
brilliant work Akis, such a dark horse!!!!

Hee hee! Like to keep people guessing what I'm about. Just when they think they have me sorted - I do something else ;0)
