Industry

This is my entry in the You Are The Truth Journal Project.

It is a project started by AAC films. You can read about the project here.

The truth I wanted to tell is that "Industry can be Beautiful"

When I lived in Manchester I would pass scenes similar to these every day on my way to work. I would be captivated at sunrise and sunset by the light shining through the chimneys at the chemical plant or the power station.
Living in the city this beauty can be overlooked. Living in the country it can be forgotten and in the future these scenes could disappear altogether.

The truth is that industry can be beautiful in its own way.

The book is now on it's way to Linda but if anyone would like to add to this unique project please let me know.

You're right sunrise and sunset are beautiful anywhere and so are your journal pages. Lovely.

Yippee! It is great to see such a super piece of work. Interesting subject too, and so right. I love looking at industrial rooftops and wandering around older parts of the industrial past in town reveals loads of fascinating details.

Glad to see the book continuing on its journey!

Hugs,

Mmm looking forward to seeing this in real life ;) Like you, I can see the beauty in industrial buildings, and love your spread.
Hopefully I'll be able to do justice to the journal when it arrives too!

Thanks for the link and appeal for others to join in,

hugs, Linda.

it's quite a late response, but i wanted to send you a huge thank you for participating in my you are the truth project.

linda d. sent me an email updating me about where the journal was a couple of weeks ago, and was even kind enough to scan all the pages up to, and including her contribution, and i'm so thrilled to see what y'all have added.

i haven't had a free moment yet to post the scans to the site yet, but i will very soon.

thanks again for adding your truth and [he]art!

peace,
