Quotes Books

I have been working in a couple of Quotes AB's.

June's book theme is eyes.
Don't know why but I dislike eyes. Maybe they are the window to the soul and I don't want anyone to go there.
Whatever I didn't know where to start until I read this quote from Mark Twain and Little Red Riding Hood came to mind.
As altered artists we do have to have an out of focus imagination.

The theme for Kim's book is Wild Wicked Women.
Well I love those and seeing as I had been looking at quotes on eyes these two just seemed to go together.

The quote from St Jerome says:
"The face is the mirror of the mind and the eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the heart."

Well now we are getting to it. I'm not letting you too deep into my secret heart either.

Mmm, love the colours, esp in the top spread, and the quotes are wondeful.

Great stuff!

I love your backgrounds in the top photo. What medium did you use to create them?

Thanks for your comments, glad you like my bright background. That is my favorite too ;0)

The paper was under some nappy liners I painted for the pocket book. I sprayed them with water first then painted with Dye-Na-Flow. The colour soaked through.
Like so many things in my art it was down to serendipity.
I stamped the wolf and painted the trees over it.

Hugs, Alis.
